I luv having mango dessert and I just had my fill of it at a new dessert place called ice monster- a taiwanese franchaise stall. Had the Mango & Durian as well as the Mixed Fruit (Strawberry, Kiwi & Mango) both topped with mango sorbet . Luv the thick mango and durian along with the nicely shaven ice. Many of the chinese dessert stalls that sell mango dessert are not as thick and creamy and generous with the fruit.

The mango & durian is for those wif a sweet tooth while the mix fruit is refreshingly tangy! Comes in 2 sizes small & regular. Tink small is enuf for 1-2 persons. The shop also sells other taiwanese hot snacks.

But I still miss "Xu Liu Siang" - the HK dessert stall which has since closed down. Dats one shop with a good variety of mango desserts- too bad sob sob...

I'm not a fish lover but over here the fish is really fresh and you can have it grilled; sautee; baked etc.. The service staff was nice and knowledgeable when recommending us the various fishes. Pricing wise its not dat cheap unless u take the fish & chips. Anyays we did had a nice quiet al fresco lunch.

Belgium Food Fare... I must say they have very fresh mussels and their frites are really one of the best we've eaten so far - its hot and crispy on the outside and soft in the inside!! The mussles, and pork knuckle was good while the beef stew and fish was so so only. The ladies had their fill with the assorted german beers and we topped it off with traditional warm belgium waffles... yummy!

Will definately go back again 4 the mussels... Ambiance is also nice, not too crowded ; remember to make reservations!

I love Ice Cream especially those that are rich in taste, generous with the ingredients & come in unique flavours. This shop is tucked away in a quiet residential area so its a nice place to chill and have your scoop unlike the bigger ice cream chains... I really like the lychee martini, wif bits of the fruit and taste of martini & theres many many more flavours to try - so i have to go back for ice-cream therepy.

Pizza is good authentic italian style - oven baked & thin crust ! Theres a few original "flavour" pizzas you can choose from besides the usual. Even the lasagna was good, not too cheesy or saucy - one of the best I've tasted so far, definitely didnt have enuf of it. The tiramisu came in quite generous servings tho the taste of coffee liquor varied in all our individual servings and the sponge biscuit portion was abit too little- if u like the cream u'll like this.

We also liked the alfresco ambiance of this place. However the wait time was abit long as they were recently featured in the newspaper and was having difficulty coping with the huge orders and influx of customers!

This is a pretty nice deli tucked away from the busy maddening orchard crowd. U can have your burgers, fries and milkshake at this deli. For the health conscious you can have sandwiches with coleslaw on the side. The burgers are juicy and serving is just right. For desserts this place serves one of the best peanut butter milkshake and lemon pie. No more Billy Bombers for me man!

When I crave for Good Authentic Thai Food I'll think of First Thai.
What I'll recommend is the Fragrant Olive rice, Tom Yum Kung with big fresh prawns. Pad Thai and Mango Glutinous rice. Pineapple rice is good too with lots of pork floss. They are quite generous with the ingredients too. Be warned food is spicy - we normally ask for mild but can be quite hot for some.

Its a casual "koiptiam" setting and cash only!

If you're thinking of having pizzas try theirs. Very nice thin crust wood-fired pizzas, 3-4 slices is not enuf. Warning: If u do go there, save space for desserts. We had to have a second helping of desserts.
