Wow how time flies. Its been such a blessing to have her in our lives. She's gone thru so many milestones. In fact the once tiny and petite lil peapod has now grown to become a chubby and healthy gal. I can still remember her small &amp; fraile limbs when we bathed her and wen she was jus an arms length only. My lil strong gal has progressed alot and I'm very proud of her! Yesterday wen I came home from work I greeted and called out her name and she was so happy to see me dat she gave me a BIG smile and laughed and wen i turned ard to walk away she actually cried- this is the first time she cried in response to me walking away. My heart kind of melt cos it showed dat she knew who I was! She has never been the sticky type of bb so wen she cried out yesterday at least I know dat my lil gal recognises her mummy dearest. I was pretty enthusiastic and for my trial run I made Apple puree. So yummy I ate the whole batch of puree myself! The cot can be adjusted into toddler bed. We used the cot since Day 1 she arrived at home this is so that she gets use to her own bed and the surroundings. So far so good she is able to zzz soundly in her cot; maybe becos it now has her smell hahaha... As theres really so little space at home I decided to rent the toy instead of buying it. Since its gonna be use for a shortwhile I tink 1 month on this toy should be enuf - she can than move on to some other new toy. The rental is very convieneint as you pay on delivery. The price includes delivery to&back so pricewise think its ok bah. Anyways the jumperoo arrived on 2 May and looks clean. Little Hazel been on it daily since the toy came. Have not seen her laughing in it yet but she keeps wanting to taste the toys! Nowadays we will go back home after work to spend time with her. Occassionally we will go out on our own for dinner and movie. Hazel's quite cooperative waking up once to have milk ard midnite either myself or mark will feed her but daddy usually does the weekend shift. After dat its lala land for her till ard 6/7am, dats also time for us to wake up and get ready for work! This whole week Mark's away in Thailand so mama here had to take care of her alone at night but luckily theres grandma for backup. I'm thinking of bring her out on my own to meet my friends on sat. Hmm.. driving with her alone it will be a first time! I hope she cooperates!! Also daddy misses her much so gonna bring her to the airport to welcome home daddy! We were surprised that she was only 2.145kg at birth and quite concern as she was not a premature baby. But doc said that besides her being on the small scale she's healthy, he even commented that she's a chilli padi small but strong! I was quite sad and worried when she was down with jaundice - her skin was so dark and yellowish, I was afraid that it may be getting worse and affect other organs. Thank God after 2 weeks or so we started to see that her complexion was getting better. Anyway she has been feeding well, pooing and peeing regualrly. Many things are now done by trial & error cos we're 1st timers! Had the Mango & Durian as well as the Mixed Fruit (Strawberry, Kiwi & Mango) both topped with mango sorbet . Luv the thick mango and durian along with the nicely shaven ice. Many of the chinese dessert stalls that sell mango dessert are not as thick and creamy and generous with the fruit. The mango & durian is for those wif a sweet tooth while the mix fruit is refreshingly tangy! Comes in 2 sizes small & regular. Tink small is enuf for 1-2 persons. The shop also sells other taiwanese hot snacks. But I still miss "Xu Liu Siang" - the HK dessert stall which has since closed down. The service staff was nice and knowledgeable when recommending us the various fishes. Pricing wise its not dat cheap unless u take the fish & chips. I must say they have very fresh mussels and their frites are really one of the best we've eaten so far - its hot and crispy on the outside and soft in the inside!! The mussles, and pork knuckle was good while the beef stew and fish was so so only. The ladies had their fill with the assorted german beers and we topped it off with traditional warm belgium waffles... yummy! Will definately go back again 4 the mussels... Have took the MRT a few times and generally no one wans to give u eye contact... Watz Up wif people nowadays?? They dun even bother to offer their seat to a pregnant lady.  *TSK TSK*  Not dat I feel I cant stand throughout the ride, jus dat if the train jerks or it gets too crowded it can feel abit awkward. I'm tinking mayb I don't look pregnant at 8 Months?? Hmmz.... Anyway its a very bad Singaporean attitude, dat people in general r not v "automatic" about giving up their seat for others in need.  But of cos theres always a few good people once in a while.
